The remaster of a fantasy RPG from the Xbox 360 and PS3 era is coming to Switch in March, and we just can't hide our excitement for this unexpected announcement!
We get to return to Amalur but this time on a Switch console, which makes us so happy. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning wasn't the best RPG in the PS3/Xbox 360 era (cough Skryim cough), but the game had something appealing and it managed to win many hearts of RPG enthusiasts out there.
Today, the announcement came saying that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is getting a Nintendo Switch port, including a physical version, and it will cost same as on PS4 and Xbox One consoles ($40). Release date is just around the corner - March 16.
The game was slept on by many, but last year the game returned to us in the Re-Reckoning remaster, with the release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was still rough on the edges, but those who have played it had the opportunity to fall in love with it again and remember why they did the first time.

The talent behind the production was insane, with some real heavy-hitters who worked on big hits like the Elder Scrolls series. There will be some visual tradeoffs on the Switch port, that's safe to be assumed, as it's always the case with these kinds of ports, but we just love the fact that Switch is getting yet another solid RPG.
