THQ Nordic have confirmed that Kingdoms of Amalur remake named Re-Reckoning is coming on September 8, 2020. The publisher also announced a new DLC Fatesworn, coming in 2021.
Earlier this year, the publisher THQ Nordic confirmed that Kingdoms of Amalur, a fan-favourite 2012 RPG is getting a visual enhancement and will be re-released as Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning.
This, remastered version brings a lot of great changes, mostly to visuals but some gameplay tweaks have also been made to make the game feel closer to modern 2020 games.
Today, THQ Nordic have confirmed that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will not release in August as previously revealed on the Microsoft Store.
Instead, the launch day is set for September 8, 2020.
On top of this, THQ Nordic have a surprise named Fatesworn. It is a brand new expansion, which is coming sometime in 2021.
The publisher did not reveal additional details about the DLC but have confirmed that The Fate Edition, which costs $55 will include the expansion.
You can also get the Standard Edition for $40 or treat yourself with a physical Collector's Edition that contains a figurine, keychain, in-game artwork, the official soundtrack and a box. It will cost you $100.
