The Matrix and Cyberpunk 2077 star Keanu Reeves has paid a visit to Hideo Kojima in his Death Stranding studio in Japan. Kojima shared a few images of Reeves at Kojima Productions where he posed alongside the Metal Gear Solid auteur.
Keanu Reeves has been Internet's No.1 guy thanks to his John Wick films, some witty memes and down to earth attitude. The Matrix star's popularity within the gaming community skyrocketed after his appearance on E3 2019, where Keanu revealed the release date for CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 and his role in the game.
He also had one of the most "breathtaking" moments in the history of E3 expo. Anyway, while many are eagerly awaiting Cyberpunk 2077, including us at AltChar, Keanu Reeves has expressed his interest in another highly anticipated title.
Reeves paid a visit to Hideo Kojima and his Kojima Productions studio in Japan after Kojima himself invited the actor to his studio for a tour. Hideo Kojima shared a few images of Keanu Reeves at Kojima Productions, where the actor posed alongside the iconic Metal Gear Solid auteur with Kojima.
Furthermore, Reeves also left a message for Kojima on the studio's kitchen board. "Save us Hideo," The Matrix star wrote on the wall. Kojima thanked Reeves for the visit by sharing a special message on his official Twitter account.
"He gave us the message on our kitchen board! Thank you so much, everyone at our studio loved it! The moment hades became heaven," Kojima wrote.
Of course, this visit will almost certainly start a blizzard of speculation that Keanu might have some part in Death Stranding. However, since the game is less than two months away from the official release, it's a very unrealistic expectation.
It is possible that Keanu appears in a potential DLC for Death Stranding but this is just speculation at the moment since there are no official details on Death Stranding expansions.
And while Keanu probably won't appear in Death Stranding, he was initially recommended to Kojima for the role of the game's main villain. However, Kojima only wanted his friend Mads Mikellsen in that role. You can read more on that here .
