Hazelight Studios posted the minimum and recommended PC specifications for their upcoming game, It Takes Two, which seem rather light considering how pretty the game looks.
It Takes Two seems to possess a combination of a beautiful art style and good optimisation since the title will have light requirements even when it comes to the recommended specs on PC, let alone the minimum ones.
It Takes Two minimum PC requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i3-2100T or AMD FX 6100
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD R7 260x
- RAM: 8 GB
- Storage: 50 GB
It Takes Two recommended PC specs
- CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD Ryzen 1300x
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 or AMD R9 290X
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage: 50 GB
Takeaways
Even in the recommended section, the GPU requirements are low. Technically, GTX 980 was high end when it was released but that was six years ago, back in 2014. It is essentially a high-end GPU from the early days of the previous generation of consoles. It is also comparable to GTX 1060, which has roughly the same performance and is a mid-tier card from two GPU generations ago.
Storage seems to be the only part of the game that is a bit beefy since 50 GB is still quite the download for some internet connections. Then again, we live in a world where Call of Duty eats up an entire SSD alone and is still not satisfied. Still, this doesn't mean the actual download size will be that big, this is just how much space will be allocated to the game.
