Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito is set to be featured in Far Cry 6 according to latest reports. Earlier this week, Esposito confirmed that he worked on a major video game but he is not allowed to talk about just yet.
Earlier this week, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito revealed that he is set to appear in a major video game , that he is not allowed to talk just yet. Shortly after that, some reliable sources confirmed that this major game is set to be revealed this month.
As expected, gamers started to speculate which title could this be. Some suggested it is Xbox's Halo Infinite, others brought Call of Duty into the mix while GTA VI was also mentioned. However, it looks like Esposito will not be in these games as he is set to be featured in Ubisoft's upcoming open-world shooter Far Cry 6.
According to a report from Gamereactor, Esposito is indeed in the next Far Cry game, which is set to be revealed at Ubisoft Forward event on July 12, 2020.
As always with unconfirmed reports, treat this as a rumour and nothing more. That being said, Esposito as a villain in Far Cry 6 does make a lot of sense since we heard earlier this year that Far Cry 6 will be set in South America with a story revolving around drug cartels.
Since Esposito is well known for his role of a drug lord Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, it is safe to say that this role would suit him perfectly in the next Far Cry.
All in all, we cannot wait to see what Ubisoft and Esposito have been cooking and July 12, could not come any sooner.
