Ubisoft announced a free weekend for Far Cry 5 so if you by some chance missed it thus far, this is the best time to check the game out.

Far Cry 5  free weekend will begin on:

  • PC via Ubisoft Store: August 5 at 2:00 PM BST / 3:00 PM CEST / 6:00 AM PDT / 9:00 AM EDT
  • PC via Epic Games Store: August 5 at 6:00 PM BST / 7:00 PM CEST / 10:00 AM PDT / 1:00 PM EDT
  • PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4: August 5 at 8:01 AM BST / 9:01 AM CEST / 00:01 AM PDT / 3:01 AM EDT
  • Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One: August 5 at 8:01 AM BST / 9:01 AM CEST / 00:01 AM PDT / 3:01 AM EDT
  • Stadia: August 5 at 6:00 AM BST / 7:00 AM CEST / 10:00 PM PDT (August 4?) / 1:00 AM EDT

Ubisoft stated the free weekend will end on August 9, 2021, but didn't specify the exact time. That said, it's probably safe to presume it will be the same hour of the day as the start was.

Pre-loads are already live on all platforms so just head over to your preferred store and start downloading the game if you wish to play it in a couple of days.

Everyone will have access to the entire game in either singleplayer or two-player co-op and since the system requirements are fairly modest, you can pretty much be assured it will run, unless your rig is extremely outdated.
