Bungie announced several new additions to Iron Banner in Destiny 2's Season 15, which should refresh the players' desire to play the game mode.
Destiny 2 often runs into issues with the amount and quality of the loot that the game offers but the one place that consistently dishes out things people like is the Iron Banner event. It does happen only once a month, making it a limited-time source of loot but it provides a ton of pinnacles and fantastic rolls for both PvE and PvP, although it's mostly for the latter.
The reason why the event is so bountiful is that Bungie constantly adds new things to change in IB, usually in the form of a few weapons but every now and then, a new armour set appears.
This will be the case in Season 15 when all three classes will be able to grab some new looks for themselves in Saladin's version of Control. You can see the armour set on the image above but that is not all.
When the flames ignite, you will have an opportunity to grab a new sidearm as well as a scout rifle, both of which will be added to the loot pool of IB Engrams, end of the match rewards and the associated quest.
Don't forget to queue up for the Freelance version of Iron Banner, to avoid all those premade teams that will otherwise just farm your team over.
