In case you don't have enough horror games to play this October, Greek developer Iphigames have you covered with their brand-new survival horror game called Hunted Bloodlines.
A demo for the game is available right now on Steam, while the full release is coming soon. You can also check out the official trailer above and screenshots in the article below, to see if this one looks like your cup of tea.
Iphi games say that their new title was "designed to push the boundaries of psychological terror". They call it a "heart-pounding, mind-twisting descent into madness" that will make players question if anything around them is real or not. Sounds intriguing.
Here is the official description of the game as well as some of the key features:
"Trapped in a decaying mansion steeped in the eerie echoes of your family’s dark past, every moment is a fight for survival. The walls whisper, shadows stalk, and your mind plays tricks on you as the game relentlessly chips away at your sanity. Every step you take could be your last, as the line between reality and nightmare blurs beyond recognition."
Key features:
- Survival or Descent: With no weapons to defend yourself, survival hinges on outsmarting your enemies. Hide or run—but remember, she is always watching.
- Sanity on the Edge: Every encounter drains your sanity. Hold on to your grip on reality, or succumb to the madness that lurks in the mansion’s dark corners.
- Timeline Distortion: The past and present merge in terrifying ways as you uncover the mystery of your cursed bloodline through shifting timelines.
If games like Silent Hill, P.T. and Resident Evil are your thing, we recommend you check out the demo. Who knows, you may end up liking it and adding it to your wishlist, which always helps small dev teams
