Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima has two games in the works at the moment. One is a "big title" while the other one is a "new, challenging one".
In the most recent interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Hideo Kojima talked about his plans for 2022 and what's currently in the works at Kojima Productions. According to Kojima-san, the studio is currently working on two games.
One of these games is a major, AAA title, while the other one is described as "a new, challenging one". Sadly, he did not reveal additional details about these projects.
In the same interview, Kojima said that 2022 will be the year where streaming will change the entertainment industry.
We know from earlier rumours that Kojima is apparently working with Xbox on an exclusive cloud-based game and the mention of "streaming" could be a hint at that game.
As for the major, AAA game, we guess it's probably a Sony published title. Perhaps the rumours about Hideo Kojima making a Silent Hill game are true after all? Or perhaps we're getting a sequel to Death Stranding, who knows.
If any of these games are coming in 2022, then we expect to hear the first details very soon. As for the official announcement trailers, there's a chance that happens at the E3 2022 for the rumoured Xbox title and one of the upcoming PlayStation events.
Until we get an official confirmation, this is all speculation so take it with a grain of salt.
