The wait is almost over. Activision are set to fully reveal the next Call of Duty game on August 26, 2020, after several weeks of teasing.
As the rumours previously suggested, the next Call of Duty game is titled Black Ops Cold War and yesterday, we got the first teaser trailer featuring Yuri Bezmenov, former KGB agent , who is most notable for blowing the lid on the Soviet model of subversion.
Today, Activision officially unveiled the artwork for Black Ops Cold War, which is not your standard Call of Duty artwork you may have expected.
As you can see in the image above, it's probably one of the most colorful Call of Duty artworks ever. It also hides a small hint at two potential campaigns - Soviet and the US. However, Activision are yet to talk about this, so take it with a grain of salt.
Additionally, the artwork features a bunch of Cold War imagery such as nukes, propaganda posters and other stuff straight from that era. You can also check the animated version of the artwork in the tweet above.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War should be coming sometime later this year to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
