Halo The Master Chief Collection has more viewers on Twitch than Halo Infinite, signalling once again the lack of content and other issues that are found in 343 Industries' latest release.
This weekend, Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC) has managed to attract more Twitch viewers than Halo Infinite. Halo MCC peaked at over 2,000 viewers while Halo Infinite had 1,800.
Halo Infinite has been losing players ever since multiplayer launched last year and one of the reasons for that is the lack of content. Five months since launch, and players are still playing the launch maps and the recent news about only two new maps launching with the upcoming Season 2 certainly did not encourage players to return to the game.
Additionally, after a successful start, the game had many issues including a game-breaking bug for Big Team Battle, as well as problems with cheaters.
Despite this, Halo Infinite is still in the "Most played games" category on Xbox, with games like Destiny 2, Roblox, Call of Duty and Madden, which means hundreds of thousands of players still play the game each day.
Certainly, it would be great if we got more Halo Infinite content in these past couple of months but it is what it is. Hopefully, once season 2 drops and the Forge officially releases in Summer 2022, the content won't be an issue, since players will be able to create their own game modes, map and much more.
