Halo Infinite's Forge promises to be quite the tool for creating various maps and game modes. Here's what we know about this mode so far.
Updated June 20, 2022: Thanks to a most recent leak, we have some new and exciting details about Halo Infinite Forge's features. The leak from YouTuber bradguy123 shows an option in the Forge that allows players to combine features from two different weapons to get a brand new ability.
In the video, the player combines Battle Rifle with Skewer which results in a massively overpowered Battle Rifle that shoots Skewer ammo. The video also shows a gravity gun which allows players to pick up any objects on the map and throw them with force or simply drop them down.
Original article: Forge is a mega-popular creation tool in Halo games that allows players to create their own maps, game modes and a whole bunch of other features. Xbox's latest Halo title - Halo Infinite - launched without Forge mode but we know it's coming soon and it's aiming to completely redefine the concept.
At the moment, the details about Halo Infinite's Forge are pretty scarce but here's everything we do know so far about this much-anticipated creation tool.
Halo Infinite Forge release date
Forge is currently on track to release sometime in Halo Infinite Season 3, which is scheduled for Summer. There is no specific release date just yet as it's too soon to lock it to a certain date. But, if everything goes according to plan, Forge should be released sometime in July/August.
Public Flights details
343 Industries confirmed that they are already flighting Forge to a small group of community creators. The devs are working closely with them to ensure that players have "a terrific experience creating, sharing, browsing, and playing Forge content."
Public Flights for Forge are not ready just yet but 343 plan to reveal more details "later this year."
Halo Infinite Forge details and leaks
343 previously said their aim with Halo Infinite's Forge is to make the best and most robust Forge ever. We've already seen some of the tools and objects in action and if everything from these leaks ends up being in Forge, it's safe to say that Halo Infinite players are up for a treat.
Players will have the option to tweak a whole slate of features and set up their custom nodes and actions. Exciting. Check out the early Forge footage in the video below.
