According to the latest hints from reliable GTA insiders, Rockstar Games could be working on GTA Trilogy Remastered, a collection which would include GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.
A couple of reliable GTA insiders from GTA Forums have teased a potential GTA Trilogy Remastered collection, which could be announced very soon. This Trilogy Remastered release would reporteldfy include three beloved GTA titles - GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.
At the time of writing, there is no solid information or anything official from Rockstar Games regarding this so we suggest you take the tease with a grain of salt. Now, let's dive into the details.
First off, GTA insider Mach simply wrote "Soon" without any provocation. Shortly after that, WildBrick 142 responded to Mach by saying that he is trying to leak stuff in the wrong thread but it appears he did it intentionally since otherwise, it would have been quite obvious.
The thread then got tagged with GTA III, GTA VC and GTA SA tags, suggesting that Mach indeed teased the Trilogy Remastered. Now, here's where things get really interesting and tricky to follow. Insider Mach then revealed that more info about the Trilogy Remastered could be coming in less than 90 days. Mach revealed this using dual-jargon which is used by both automotive enthusiasts/mechanics & game developers, talking about a new engine and a trailer arriving in the next 90 days.
Additionally, there's another tease from GTAForums admin Uni, who posted a photo of three GTA Online Shark Cards which show the following dates: 2001/2002/2004. Hardcore GTA fans will recognize that these are the respective release dates of GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.
Before you get all excited, please keep in mind that these could mean absolutely nothing. It would not be the first time that GTA Forums start a hype train with a couple of teases and insider info, which in the end turn out to be bogus.
Of course, it's also possible that the info is legit this time round but don't get your hopes up just yet.
