Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer gave us a bunch of new details about the game including the first look at protagonists, Vice City, a confirmation of release platforms and a 2025 release date.
However, one thing that we don't know is when exactly will Rockstar release GTA in 2025. Players speculate that the game probably won't come before the Holiday season but judging by Rockstar's previous comments we may have an idea on when to expect GTA 6 in 2025.
Rockstar stated earlier that they plan to release two major games in fiscal year 25 (FY25) which runs until March 2025. One of those games they plan to release is GTA 6.
However, it's likely that things changed since Rockstar shared these details and GTA 6 is no longer scheduled to launch in FY 25. Rockstar's games usually get delayed from their initial release window and we would not be surprised if the same happened with GTA 6.

It's hard to tell what Rockstar's plans are at the moment in terms of release date and how well the optimisation and polishing phase of the game is progressing. If everything is going smoothly and according to plan, we could see GTA very early in 2025. Fingers crossed!
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version is yet to be announced but it's expected to release sometime after the initial console launch. Probably in 2026 or even later.
