Ghost Reckon: Wildlands' first expansion will be launching on 18 April for season pass holders. The expansion brings new vehicles, weapons and objectives. Prior to the expansion's release, a free update will be applied to the game.
Narco Road is the first paid expansion to drop for Ghost Reckon: Wildlands, after a free PvP update brought 4v4 team combat. Narco Road will see you try and infiltrate three gangs under the control of El Invisible.
El Invisible's name indicates just how elusive he is, kind of like how the Italian mob had a guy named The Teflon Don, because "nothing would stick". True story.
Anyway, El Invisible has three bosses each running his own gang, and each of those has a distinct feature. Be it thrill-seeking, the love of muscle cars or worshiping the goddess of death, all three gangs have a distinct passion and, you'll probably have to acquire a couple of new interests during the course of the expansion.
The expansion will feature north of 15 new missions, carefully divided amongst three gangs, four new types of side missions and racing challenges.
The goal here is to bring your popularity factor way up because, apparently the crime bosses in this game are high school girls who will totes judge you based on the number of people in your squad.
Narco Road has this name for a reason, and that reason is: you'll drive a lot. Different vehicles too. The expansion is bringing some new rides in the form of muscle cars with nitro boosts, planes with acrobatic flight capabilities, big chopper bikes, and monster trucks, all with a badass stamp of tough, uncompromising approval.
In addition to the new rides, some fresh threads are also coming your way. Four to be exact. After all, you're going to want to look your best while schmoozing the bosses.
Nine new weapons will also be at your disposal across all platforms, come 18 April - if you own the season pass. The expansion will be available for individual purchase on 25 April, with the price of £11.99.
Before Narco Road rolls out, a free title update will usher in live season challenges and new rewards. The free update will arrive on 12 April for consoles and 14 April for PC. The first themed-season will be called “The Rise and Fall of Unidad,” and it'll will challenge the players to target Unidad operations. The challenges will refresh every Wednesday for six weeks, and the players will receive up to three unique rewards per week.
Fallen Ghosts is the next expansion coming for Wildlands in the future.
