The animations for one of the upcoming Genshin Impact characters Yoimiya have been revealed on Twitter by one of the most credible leakers. Yoimiya is not expected to be a part of the upcoming 1.6 update.
The release of a new character is one of the most exciting things in Genshin Impact. With all the upcoming banners players will have a harder time where to spend their precious Primogems.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has unexpectedly teased three new characters: Ayaka, Sayu and Yoimiya.
A recent video on Twitter posted from a credible Genshin Impact leaker called Zeniet has revealed fight scene featuring Yoimiya.
We don't have a lot of confirmed information about Yoimiya other than that she's a Pyro bow user. When it comes to her rarity, she's expected to be a four-star character which will come in handy when building up her constellations.
A couple of days ago a leak on the famous Wangsheng Funeral Parlor discord channel leaked some information about her skills which apparently turned out to be true.
Yoimiya's Elemental Skill (E) will infuse her basic attacks with Pyro, similar to Hu Tao's skill. This will allow her to constantly proc elemental reactions as well as destroy annoying Cryo shields. Her Elemental Burst (Q) apparently creates a field that deals constant Pyro damage which is pretty similar to Rosaria's Burst.
These leaks should be taken with a grain of salt considering that miHoYo could still make some changes during the beta phase of future updates. Either way, a new Pyro bow character will surely raise some eyebrows since she has the potential to be a very good DPS.
When it comes to the day of release, there were no official confirmations. All of the newly announced characters, besides Kazuha, will most likely not make it into the 1.6 update. 1.7 should be arriving around June 20, at least according to miHoYo's update schedule.
