Genshin Impact officially reveals the four-star characters for the upcoming Yoimiya banner which is scheduled to arrive in the second part of the current Genshin Impact Version 2.8.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
However, it seems as though developer Hoyoverse started combining new characters with two banner re-runs for each new Genshin Impact update. A recent leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed that Yoimiya might receive his first banner re-run in update 2.7. According to the game's usual update schedule, 2.7 should arrive around May 15.
The official Genshin Impact social media accounts have revealed the four-star characters that will accompany Yoimiya on her banner. According to the to tweet, the new banner will introduce the following characters:
- Yoimiya (five-star Pyro bow character)
- Yunjin (four-star Geo polearm character)
- Bennett (four-star Pyro sword character)
- Xinyan (four-star Pyro claymore character)
Yoimiya has been a part of the game since update 2.7 and players were wondering when her banner might return. She is a very strong Pyro DPS character at the moment, especially against single targets. Yoimiya is expected to arrive alongside new character Yelan and another banner re-run which will feature Arataki Itto.
