A new Genshin Impact leak shows a video featuring the upcoming character, Shikanoin Heizou, in a fight against a large group of Hydro Slimes. He is expected to arrive on the first banner for update 2.8.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally confirmed that we are going to see a new addition to the character roster, the long-awaited Anemo user Heizou.
Multiple Genshin Impact leakers including the SaveYourPrimos Twitter account have revealed that the new character Heizou will be a new Anemo user. Even though he was heavily hinted to be a Dendro character, it seems as though players will have to wait for a couple of patches for the new element to arrive.
According to a popular Genshin Impact leaker named Lumie, Heizou will be a the first male Catalyst character. Shikanoin Heizou is a mysterious detective from Inazuma and he will apparently have the smallest model in the game. When it comes to his rarity, there is no official information but he's expected to be a new four-star character.
A recent leak on the popular Genshin Impact subreddit shows a video featuring Heizou in a fight a group of Hydro Slimes. The video shows that despite having a Catalyst as the main weapon, Heizou will still have close-combat fighting mechanics.
Even though developer HoYoverse is yet to release the two previously announced characters: Kuki Shinobu and Yelan, they have already confirmed the arrival of the new Anemo user. There is still no information about his role but he is expected to be a support character.
