A recent Genshin Impact leak has revealed the Livestream event for Version 2.7 will be delayed. The new update was originally planned to drop around May 15.
The official Genshin Impact 2.6 livestream has already confirmed the arrival of a new character named Kamisato Ayato. He will be joined by two banner re-runs for Kamisato Ayaka and Venti.
While Version 2.6 has arrived a couple of days ago, it seems like we already have information about what the next update might bring. Numerous leaks have already revealed a lot of information about a new character named Yelan. She is expected to be a new five-star Hydro bow user.
Previously a Genshin Impact leak has revealed that Genshin Impact update 2.7 could get delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in China. Developer miHoYo will apparently introduce a third banner to Genshin Impact update 2.6.
Today Genshin Impact's official social media accounts have confirmed that the livestream event will be delayed. Yelan won't be the only new character as multiple leaks confirm the arrival of another four-star unit named Kuki Shinobu, also known as Kuki Ninja. She is Itto's sidekick and responsible for keeping the Arataki gang in check.
A recent leak on the popular Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed the Elemental Skill and Burst for Kuki Shinobu:
- Elemental Skill - Kuki creates a shadow clone attached to herself and nearby enemies, recovering the health of the current character on the field. This skill has a 30-second cooldown
- Elemental Burst - Kuki summons three shuriken which will apply damage each time a party character does damage. The skill has a 20-second cooldown
Multiple leaks claim that Yelan will arrive on the first banner cycle while Kuki is scheduled for the second part of the update.
