Mihoyo have dropped a bunch of details regarding Genshin Impact's upcoming update Version 2.0, which is officially coming later this month. If you are one of those hardcore fans of this anime action RPG, you probably know what is coming in the update but for those who are out of the loop, let's check some of the update highlights.
First and foremost, Inazuma is coming. It is the third city of the seven major cities and the area consists of six main islands and a series of islets scattered across the ocean, each with a unique landscape and history. Check out some of the gorgeous scenery in the screenshots below:
Mihoyo also introduced us to introduce three new reliable companions Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu from Inazuma, who may join your party. Ayaka and Yoimiya will also make their debut in the upcoming Archon Quests. You probably know Ayaka and her Cryo power and sword from the closed beta testing.
Yoimiya is a brand new five-star Pyro archer, specialising in fireworks, while the last character, Sayu is a four-star ninja character who wields an Anemo Vision.
Last but not least, the Genshin Impact team confirmed that starting from Version 2.0, all Travelers will be able to share game progress across PS5, PS4, PC and mobile.
