A leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks Reddit has revealed an in-game screenshot featuring a mysterious character Yelan equipped with a brand-new weapon.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
A previous leak from a credible Genshin Impact leaker called Dimbreath has revealed the character for one of the upcoming characters - Yelan. Her abilities have not been revealed yet but many players were speculating that she could be a Dendro character. Recent leaks have shown that she's actually a Hydro vision holder.

She's apparently confirmed to be a Hydro bow character, just like Tartaglia. There are no official information about the bow, but it's expected that it will be a new five-star wepaon.
Ayato is expected to be a Hydro character meaning that he should have great synergy with his sister Ayaka who's a Cryo user. His weapon of choice will be the sword and he will be the second Hydro sword user after Xingqiu. According to most leaks, he should arrive in update 2.6 which, according to miHoYo's usual update schedule should drop around April 10.

Even though Yae Miko is not even released yet, the official Genshin Impact Twitter account has already announced the arrival of another popular character, the long-awaited Kamisato Ayato. He is Ayaka's brother and the head of the Kamisato clan.
