The official Special Program for Genshin Impact Version 2.7 has confirmed the limited banner re-run for one of the most popular characters in the game - Arataki Itto.
It seems as though that Genshin Impact developer Hoyoverse started combining new characters with two banner re-runs for each new Genshin Impact update.
Itto is a unique character that thrives on having a good team composition around him. It's safe to say that he is the character who introduced the famous trend of having four Geo characters in the same party.
The official Livestream event for Genshin Impact update 2.7 has confirmed the arrival of a new Geo user named Arataki Itto. He will apparently be a part of the second banner cycle where he's joined by the new four-star character Kuki Shinobu.
He has been a part of the game since Genshin Impact update 2.3 when he was introduced alongside another Geo character named Gorou. Even though Genshin Impact usually tends to introduce re-runs after five updates pass, it seems like Itto could arrive a bit sooner than expected.

Itto won't be the only character to receive a banner re-run in 2.7 as the Livestream confirmed another character named Xiao to appear on the first double banner alongside the new five-star character Yelan.
A popular Genshin Impact leaker named Ubatcha1 has confirmed that the three four-star characters that will join Yelan and Xiao are Noelle, Yanfei and Barbara.
