The offical Genshin Impact social media accounts have finally revealed the character teaser for the upcoming Kamisato Ayato who is scheduled to arrive in the upcoming 2.6 update.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally confirmed that we are going to see a new addition to the character roster, the long-awaited Hydro sword user Kamisato Ayato.
Recent beta leaks have revealed a lot of information about the upcoming Genshin Impact update 2.6 which should arrive at the end of March. The new update will apparently bring another double banner re-run alongside Ayato.
A recent Genshin Impact leaker by the name Ubatcha1 has revealed that the Ayato has received another set of buffs. Apparently. his C6 Elemental Burst will now deal 450 per cent damage instead of 300 per cent.
The official Genshin Impact Youtube channel has finally revealed the character teaser for Kamisato Ayato. According to Hoyoverse's usual update schedule, he should arrive around March 30.
Another Genshin Impact leak reveals more information about Ayato's particle generation. Apparently, each of his Elemental Skill attacks will create a particle and it has a 1.9 seconds cooldown. Fans seem to be let down by this leak considering that all of the Inazuma characters seem to have an issue with gathering energy and they all basically require to be paired with Raiden Shogun.

Kamisato Ayato has been one of the most anticipated characters in the Genshin Impact community since his name came up in the game's stories. He will apparently be the only character to arrive in update 2.6.
Another rumor on the same subreddit apparently reveals more about Ayato's party role. According to a leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, Ayato will have strong DPS capabilities. He will be a traditional DPS character with a strong focus on Normal Attacks, similar to Arataki Itto.
