Another Genshin Impact beta leak has apparently revealed the in-game map for the recently announced region named Chasm. The new part of Teyvat will arrive in update 2.6.
Genshin Impact has taken the gaming industry by storm and the player base keeps growing by each day. Recent leaks have revealed pretty much all of the content that we are going to see in the upcoming 2.4 update.
Multiple leaks have already confirmed the arrival of a new region named Enkanomiya in update 2.4 which should arrive around January 5. Even though many players expected Chasm to finally be introduced to the game, miHoYo seemed to have other plans. Enkanomiya will be a vertical map similar to Dragonspine, meaning that there will be multiple layers of explorable ground.
A recent update by a credible Genshin Impact leaker has revealed some additional information about Chasm. According to the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit Chasm will apparently arrive in update 2.6. Chasm was heavily tied with two popular characters, the long-awaited Yaoyao and Baizhu.
However, we might have to wait for them until a new major nation by the name Sumeru arrives. Another credible leak has revealed the Chasm map alongside the six teleport waypoints including a Statue of The Seven.
So far the only elemental reaction that includes Dendro is Burning. The grass is considered a Dendro object and will spread the burn effect around the area. The fact that this element only interacts with Pyro might be one of the reasons why we haven't seen a Dendro character yet. It would surely require a major change to the elemental reaction fighting mechanics of the game.
