A recent Genshin Impact leak hints at which characters might arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.6. The new update should drop around March 30.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
Albedo has certainly become one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. He is one of the strongest characters in the game right now and probably one of the strongest support characters in the game alongside Bennet and Mona. Albedo is a Geo sword user and he is one of the most important characters in the game's story.
A recent leak on the popular Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed the official art for the upcoming update 2.6. Apart from Ayato and the Traveler, the art also displays Albedo which might hint on another banner re-run. This would surely come as a surprise considering that he was already featured on a re-run back in update 2.3 alongside Eula.
miHoYo has already announced a new character on their official social media accounts. His name is Kamisato Ayato and he is a new Hydro sword user.

Ayato is expected to be a Hydro character meaning that he should have great synergy with his sister Ayaka who's a Cryo user. His weapon of choice will be the sword and he will be the second Hydro sword user after Xingqiu. According to most leaks, he should arrive in update 2.6 which, according to miHoYo's usual update schedule should drop around April 10.
