The official Genshin Impact 2.5 Livestream has confirmed the arrival of a new type of enemy enemy alongside a brand new region, the long-awaited Chasm.
Genshin Impact has taken the gaming industry by storm and the player base keeps growing by each day. Recent leaks have revealed pretty much all of the content that we are going to see in the upcoming 2.4 update. Multiple leaks have already confirmed the arrival of a new region named Enkanomiya in update 2.4 which should arrive around January 5.
Even though many players expected Chasm to finally be introduced to the game, miHoYo seemed to have other plans. Enkanomiya will be a vertical map similar to Dragonspine, meaning that there will be multiple layers of explorable ground.
A recent leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subredidt has revealed a couple of screenshots featuring a new Ruing Serpents enemy that will arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.5. The new update will join the live servers on February 16.

The new update will bring a brand new five-star character named Yae Miko as well as two re-runs. The five-star characters Kokomi and Raiden Shogun have been confirmed to receive their first banner re-run.
According to the new subreddit Chasm will apparently arrive in update 2.6. Chasm is heavily tied with two popular characters, the long-awaited Yaoyao and Baizhu. Yaoyao has had her in-game model leaked many months ago and it seems like miHoYo are waiting for the perfect moment to implement her into the playable roster.
