A recent leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed which limited characters will be featured on the double banner for the upcoming update 2.5.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally revealed the art for one of the upcoming characters - Yae Miko. After many speculations, she's confirmed to be a five-star Electro character. Nothing mentioned on the official art or the Twitter description indicates her weapon type.
Yae Miko has certainly become one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. She has already made two appearances in the last two update previews (2.0 and 2.1) and according to the recent live stream, she will be the main character that takes us through the second part of Inazuma.
A recent post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed the banner characters that will arrive in the upcoming 2.5 update:
- Yae Miko - Electro catalyst user
- Raiden Shogun - Electro polearm user
- Sangonomiya Kokomi - Hydro catalyst user
Yae Miko will apparently be the only character present on the first banner cycle while Raiden and Kokomi should be featured on a double banner for the second cycle. The new update will bring brand new banner mechanics which allows players to choose between two limited character banners in the same update cycle. This could be the way that miHoYo decides to introduce banner re-runs in the future since it compensates for the absence of a new five-star character.
