It seems that a cross-save feature between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and mobile could finally be coming to Genshin Impact in the highly-anticipated 2.0 version update, which is set to be revealed soon.
Mihoyo's mega-popular anime open-world action RPG Genshin Impact is set to introduce a major content drop in the upcoming version 2.0 update, which the devs should be revealing this week if the latest rumours are accurate.
Version 2.0 update is set to introduce a brand new Inazuma region, as well as several new playable characters like Yoimiya and Ayaka.
Another highly-anticipated feature that players have been waiting to hear about is cross-save between PC and other platforms, mainly mobile and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
It looks like cross-save could be coming in the update version 2.0, according to Genshin Report, a Twitter profile for all things Genshin Impact.
"Cross-save between mobile, PC, and PlayStation will be introduced in version 2.0 It will also be present when Genshin comes to Switch and allow for HoYoLab on consoles."
Whether cross-save is really coming to Genshin Impact in update 2.0, it remains to be seen. Of course, the tweet is far from an official confirmation so we'll have to wait for the reveal to hear more details but it's certainly possible that this is one of the surprises that mihoyo have in store for the reveal event.
Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile.
