Following a 30-ish per cent drop in stock prices over the past year GameStop will be closing 225 of its 7500 store locations worldwide. In case you were thinking about making a trip to your local store, it might be a good idea to check if it's still there before you put your shoes on.

On the brighter side of things, the company has experienced an increase in from their collectible business, mostly owing to successful affiliate programmes and Pokemon merchandise.
