Gamepires have confirmed that they will finally be adding naked butts to SCUM in an update on Friday, 02 November 2018. The game's metabolism mechanics proved to be fun, but felt unfinished without the ability to take the pants off.

SCUM has already had a run with plenty of controversial topics, such as masks made of human skin, cannibalism and pooping on players you potentially killed. Therefore, it was quite the wonder that the game didn't feature any nudity, especially with the need to take pants down if one were to drop a deuce or drain the dragon.

This will all change in the upcoming update apparently, as the developer studio Gamepires there will be "no ifs, ands or butts" because "The Wild Hunter is baring it all this Friday". Yes, it means we will finally be able to stop pooping and peeing through our trousers.

There is no official confirmation on what could have delayed the nudity update, but it's possible that Devolver Digital and Gamepires wanted to avoid more controversy, following the removal of prison tattoos associated with Nazis.

Then again, other survival games have had full nudity for a while now and the topic is not exactly controversial. Rust is one of the most popular survival games around and it randomises the size of your male character's package based on your Steam ID. Meanwhile, Conan Exiles lets players customise the size of their tools via sliders, sometimes with accompanying them.

No additional info has been given for the moment, but the butts and other bits might help SCUM bounce its numbers back up.

Since Halloween is still the talk of the town, it may be a good time to try that human skin mask we mentioned previously. It's quite terrifying, but hairy bottoms could add to the horror. We didn't add the preview of the latter, but you can see it in full pixelated glory on SCUM's above-linked tweet.
