It may be Season 4 of Epic's Fortnite: Battle Royale but it's still the same old carnage. Welcome to the first week's set of challenges for owners of Fortnite's Battle Pass and this time around, there are seven of them. So, let's dive in.

As usual, Epic sprinkled a few more difficult challenges to go with the easy ones, but we've got your back, as usual. All hard challenges earn 10 while the rest earn 5 Battle Stars. Dealing 500 damage to opponents is Fortnite's first challenge. Do we really need to explain?

Second up is searching through chests in Haunted Hills, a total of seven of them. I can't be bothered to check the exact numbers but even though the area is pretty rich in gold chests, you'll probably need more than one drop.

Using a Port-a-Fort is the third Fortnite Week 1 challenge, most probably the easiest one of them all - just throw the darn thing and hopefully you frag someone from up there.

This is where things get a bit tricky, despite Epic classifying finding F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E- letters as easy. In truth, some of them are quite difficult to get to and you'll probably be trying to build your way up to the letter while getting shot at.

There are more locations where you can find these letters as well, but we've hurried the first possible solution along. This Fortnite challenge concludes easy ones and and earns you 2,000XP.

The fifth challenge is following the treasure map from Tomato Town, which is situated behind one of the dark-bricked buildings but we'll save you the trouble. The place you need to be is the white dot on the map in Loot Lake. It's a half sunk boat and your Battle Star is right there. The challenge earns 1,000XP.

The last two challenges seem pretty easy, at least for a seasoned Fortnite veteran, pun intended. They're about eliminating three enemies with pistols and eliminating three enemies in Flush Factory. Each challenge earns you 1,000XP and you could theoretically do both of them at the same time. That's about it, happy hunting.
