Epic Games announced a few additions to Fortnite's cosmetics, themed after Batman, and they are already teasing more of DC Universe crossovers.
Batman is one of the most recognisable superheroes in the modern-day and having him in Fortnite is a huge deal for both Warner Bros and Epic Games as players are bound to spend a ton of money purchasing the skin. The one part that is possibly going to be unhappy are the fans of Batman as they could find this to be bad treatment of the character.
Whatever the case turns out to be, there is a series of comics that are on the way, with the explanation that Batman went into a reality rift that eventually dropped him on the island where battle royale takes place. Just like in the game, the hero will be facing off against the likes of Renegade Raider, Fishstick, Bandolier and other cosmetics.
Batman/Fortnite crossover comic will be coming twice a month and there will be a total of six issues, the last of which will be released on July 6, 2021.
All the printed issues will feature redeemable codes for Fortnite cosmetics from the crossover, with Harley Quinn being the first in line. Redeeming six codes from the comics will award an additional skin - Armored Batman Zero.
In case you're looking for all the cosmetics but can't get your hands on the printed comics, you will be able to get them from Fortnite's in-game shop.
