Epic Games have officially decided to keep the Zero Build mode in Fortnite but those who prefer the classic experience will not be left behind either.

There were several hints that Zero Builds mode is going to stay in Fortnite , despite having the initial expiration date nine days after launch. That was more for the lore purposes as the default game mode has returned to normal and those who like building their forts on the go can do so once again.

However, Zero Build game mode is here to stay as a separate section of the battle royale. Epic Games launched a trailer for it along with a quick overview of what to expect from the new way to enjoy the game.

Zero Build is completely focusing on one's skills with weapons, items and mobility as you can't just pop a cover out of the blue. Mobility and sturdiness have been enhanced to compensate and players can now scale obstacles faster while also having their movement speed increased.

On top of that, they will have the Overshield, which will be applied on top of the regular shield that you get from chugging blue stuff. This Overshield recharges over time on its own.

Players can join Zero Build in the Discover page as Solos, Duos, Trios and Squads. The Discover page is accessed by clicking the "Change" button above "Play" in the lobby.

Some players are worried this will split the player base but having more options is always a good thing, right?
