As part of Fortnite's latest event Fortnitemares 2020: Midas' Revenge, Epic Games have a special treat for fans and music lovers with a premiere of J Balvin's new single.
"Headlining this year’s Fortnitemares event, reggaeton global ambassador superstar and four-time Latin Grammy winner J Balvin will awaken your spirit in the Afterlife Party — a special performance in Party Royale featuring his biggest hits and the debut of his brand new song with Sech! The party begins at the Main Stage in Party Royale on October 31 at 9 PM ET", Epic wrote.
If you don't catch the prime time, reruns of the Afterlife Party will be aired on November 1 at 1:00pm ET and 6:00pm ET (10:00am PT and 3:00pm PT). Both will be at the main stage, but if you just want to watch, you can do so via the Houseparty group video chat app.
Fortnite's cosmetics hunters should love the Afterlife Party additions, as the Party Trooper Outfit has been spruced up to match the undead nightlife vibe. The base outfit, one sporting neon skeleton bones, is available until November 1, 2020, at 8:00pm ET in the store. It's the one from the cover image, by the way.
The second variant is the J Balvin style, which will be gifted to all Party Trooper Outfit owners who attend any of the Afterlife Party showings in Fortnite.
Support-A-Creator content creators should know that they're free to stream and share everything they see until November 6, 2020, but there are a few caveats here. The videos will be demonetised past that date, but your videos should still be there should with no copyright strikes or other takedowns.
