Ubisoft announced that the new season of For Honor, Resistance, is kicking off alongside Rebellion, a limited-time event.
Year 4 Season 3 kicked off on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia on September 17, 2020. The new season is all about resisting the Warmongers and their regime which has left all the factions damaged. It is, for this reason, they will unite and take the fight to the common enemy.
The same day also marked the start of Tales of the Rebellion, which is a time-limited event that will unfold in three phases over three weeks. Each phase will have a different theme that is based on what a war would look like in medieval times.
For example, the first phase, which is live now, is Rescue and it will put players in touch with a certain blacksmith who will direct them to the second phase, starting on September 24. It is named Pillage and players will enter the second co-op activity to bring out glowy crimson materials to the blacksmith.
On October 1, 2020, the teams will apparently set out to finally bring the Warmongers to their knees in Overthrow, the final week and co-op activity of the event.
One interesting bit is that the event will have a free event pass with rewards for everyone to earn. Meanwhile, Resistance will bring more seasonal customisation content such as an outfit, a Cinnabar material, weapons, executions and armour.
Furthermore, the players will be able to wear any colour they like, starting this season. It remains to be seen how this will work as there are no colour-based distinctions between teams anymore.
