For Honor is entering its fourth year with Season 1 titled "Hope". Season 1 will launch on 6 February 2020 for the usual suspects: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The inaugural season of Year 4 will start at the end of the catastrophe that has been tormenting the world of For Honor. The Heroes will be granted access to all-new lootable armours and weapons, in-game events, and more fresh content - all themed around the latest development.
With the new season comes the Battle Pass and a new progression system that will see For Honor players unlocking unique cosmetic rewards via the Free and Premium passes by completing matches, Arcade quests and daily orders.
"Hope" will set into motion For Honor's Year 4 - the "Year of the Reckoning" - which will introduce an extra year's worth of content throughout four Seasons. The fresh content will include two new Heroes, new customisation options including new armours, and more.
The announcement stresses that balancing will still occupy the top spot on the devs' list of priorities along with the support and development of the competitive scene with regular official tournaments.
For Honor will also be partnering with renowned artists to work on the game’s official artworks for each Season and the hope is that they will offer new perspectives on the game’s world.
For Honor is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The title is also available via Ubisoft’s subscription service UPLAY+. Year 4 Season 1 - "Hope" will launch on 6 February 2020.
