Square Enix has confirmed the last pre-patch event for Final Fantasy 14 before the arrival of Patch 7.3: The Promise of Tomorrow next month will be the Moogle Treasure Trove. Called The Hunt for Allegory, players can once again grind for rare rewards by completing the event’s targeted in-game duties.
The event will launch on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 4: 00 AM Eastern and run all the way up until the servers shut down for Patch 7.3 maintenance at the beginning of August. This should leave players with close to a month to earn Irregular Tomestones of Allegory and exchange them for cosmetics, mounts, music rolls and more.
Square Enix has packed this iteration of the Moogle Treasure Trove with a number of highly-coveted rewards, both returning from Shadowbringers as well as event exclusives. If you somehow missed previous campaigns or simply want another shot at obtaining them, this is your opportunity.
What Is the Moogle Treasure Trove?
The Moogle Treasure Trove is a limited-time event in FFXIV that tasks players with earning Irregular Tomestones; a special currency by completing certain duties. These can range from dungeons and trials to other activities which are listed in the Mogpendium, the special event log.
Tomestones can then be turned in to Itinerant Moogles that appear in Ul’dah, Gridania and Limsa Lominsa.
