FIFA 23 cover will feature two football stars - PSG's striker Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea's Sam Kerr.

EA have finally dropped the details on FIFA 23 cover art, which will feature Kylian Mbappe as rumours suggested but also Chelsea's Sam Kerr, as the female athlete.

This is not the first time that a FIFA game has a female football player on the cover. USA striker Alex Morgan was the franchise's first-ever female cover star back in 2015 for FIFA 2016.

Sadly, we didn't get to see any gameplay today but EA are set to unveil the first FIFA 23 footage on Wednesday with the official reveal trailer. The trailer will go live at 6:00 PM CET / 09:00 AM PT.

The trailer is over two minutes long which means we probably won't be getting any lengthy gameplay but some in-engine footage should suffice for now.

Usually, EA love to present new features with the reveal trailer and release the first in-depth gameplay later on, as we get closer to the release date.

Speaking about the release date, confirmation of the September 30 launch , platforms and pre-order details should also drop with the trailer. Fingers crossed for the proper next-gen version on PC.

As you may know, this will be EA's last FIFA game since FIFA decided that it's time to make their own game while EA will have to rename their football franchise but still retain player, club and stadium licences.

Basically, EA will be losing the FIFA name, and that's about it.

FIFA already said they are looking for game developers who would be interested to develop the next FIFA game but so far, the football governing body are yet to officially announce if they have anything in store for football fans in the coming years.

All in all, if you're looking forward to this year's FIFA, there are plenty of things for you this week as EA finally start the hype train for their last FIFA game.
