It's good to be a Fallout 76 player at the moment --- Bethesda have just announced another slate of new content that will be coming to the game over the next couple of weeks and months. The news was dropped at the Fallout Celebration Day livestream, which you can watch above.
Bethesda confirmed the release of some previously announced features like pets, which will allow you to have cats and dogs in your camps.
The biggest announcement, which Bethesda saved for the end of the stream, was a new raid called Gleaming Depths, a new end-game activity for player levels 300 and higher.
The raid features several boss battles and some of the most challenging obstacles so you'll need a well-coordinated and geared-up team to even stand a chance of completing this raid.
Bethesda also gave us a glimpse of the main raid boss, which is this massive cobra-like serpent called The Ultracite Terror. It's the biggest boss ever in the Fallout franchise, according to the devs.
We also got more details on playable Ghouls, which really sound like one OP race. They basically don't have to drink or eat anything, can become radiated and have their own set of perks. One of them will actively heal you in combat.
Some of the other stuff that Bethesda also confirmed are new legendary weapons, and a tease for an actual fishing mechanic. Not sure what kind of fish players are expected to find in the radiated waters but it's certainly going to be fun catching all sorts of creepy fish across Fallout 76's world.
