PM Studios announced a partnership with Game Science to physically release Black Myth: Wukong for PlayStation 5 in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Black Myth: Wukong, after hitting the digital stores on Steam and the PlayStation Store this August, quickly became a phenomenon.
In less than a month, it sold over 20 million copies and set records for the most concurrent players playing a single-player game on Steam at over 2.4 million players online.
For the first time, however, fans will have the chance to own a physical form of the game-to-shelf, breathing cover art worthy of any gamer. Black Myth: Wukong is a mythological Chinese-inspired action RPG where players will be taking on the persona of the Destined One.
More than inviting players to go on a richly detailed world, the game is full of mystery, difficulties, and tales about legends, all while revealing hidden truths behind the myths of ancient times.
The physical edition comes with a voucher for the Deluxe Edition, that includes:
- Weapon: Bronzecloud Staff
- Equipment: Folk Opera Mask, Armor, Leather Bracers, and Buskins
- Curio: Wind Chimes
- Selected Digital Soundtrack
Main features of the game
The players will explore the vast and dramatic open-world panorama full of dynamic scenery. Each will be drawn from the Journey to the West, offering a host of unique abilities against which players will have to hold their combat skills.
A range of spells, transformations, and magical items are at your disposal, whereby one can create his or her own style of combat. Other than the epic battles, players will have to uncover the past of the enemies that they will be facing and will confront the motives and feelings that drive them.
With its rich mythology and dominated gameplay, Black Myth: Wukong will surely enthrall PS5 players once it launches physically.
