ARC Raiders' most-awaited Season 3 update is going live soon. The Shrouded Sky update will be the fourth major update for the game, which will add a new Hurricane map condition, a new raider deck, expedition project 3, map updates, and two brand new ARC enemies.
While Embark initially teased one ARC as a part of the update, to everyone's surprise, they are adding an additional ARC with the update. The new ARCS, the Firefly and the Comet, will be active in patrolling all maps in the Hurricane map condition.
Two New ARC Enemies are Joining ARC Raiders with the Shrouded Sky Update
Two unique ARC machines have been spotted on the surface, and these machines will challenge Raiders to fight in new and creative ways.
The Firefly is a floating nightmare: an armoured flying machine that emits a jet of flame, burning your Raider to a crisp unless you can move quickly or find cover. From the looks of it, the Firefly looks like a more armoured version of the Hornet with a flamethrower attached.
The Comet is a spherical ARC machine that calmly patrols the surface until it comes across an unsuspecting Raider. You better not let this one get too close; once it sees you, it will lock on with a frightening focus before exploding with a seismic boom. As seen in the teaser, the Comet might be able to move at speeds close to Pops. So, it might end up overwhelming you in an instant if you are not careful.
The Shrouded Sky update for Arc Raiders launches on February 24, 2026, across all platforms. Aside from the new ARC enemies, players are also getting a new raider deck and map update which introduces the new Controlled Access Zone POI to Dam Battlegrounds.
