Techland revealed quite a few interesting details for the upcoming DLC for Dying Light 2, including the release date and some story points.
Dying Light 2 is set to receive its first story DLC, Bloody Ties, on October 13, 2022.
The new trailer confirmed the release date along with other key parts of the DLC, such as the new location called The Carnage Hall. Just like it sounds, the place is basically an arena designed for brutal combat, although it's not necessarily zombies who are coming to ruin your day.
Bloody Ties will send the players to this gnarly equivalent of the Thunderdome that was once an opera building, which will be packed with challenges, quests, new weapon types, character interactions and more.
Just like anything else these days, Bloody Ties will have pre-order incentives and this time around, it's the Aristocrat Pack. It's a bundle that features an exclusive weapon and an outfit. If you do decide to venture in, the DLC will set you back $10 / €10 / ₤8.
Before the paid DLC, however, the players can enjoy the free Community Update. Once again, true to its name, this update consists of fixes and upgrades that were requested by the players.
For example, zombies will have improved behaviour during the night, increased spawns of special zombies, distance trackers, technical improvements and E3 2019 colour grading presets.
