Square Enix's action RPG Dragon Quest Builders 2 is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (via backward compatibility), PC and Xbox Game Pass on May 4, 2021.
The Xbox team are really bad at keeping secrets lately. Once again, a leak revealed the next Xbox Game Pass addition which is another Square Enix title - Dragon Quest Builders 2. The game is set to officially launch on Xbox consoles for the first time ever next month and it will be available on Game Pass day one!
"You'll be able to embark on an epic journey and become the Master Builder, as Dragon Quest Builders 2 is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (via backward compatibility), and Windows 10 PC and Xbox Game Pass (Console, Cloud, and PC) on May 4," Duncan Heaney, Content Communications Manager, Square Enix writes in the official announcement.
Additionally, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is registered as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, which means you can play the game on Xbox and PC with shared saved progress and achievements. Pretty neat, right?
Dragon Quest Builders 2is also available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In case you are not familiar with the game, it originally released back in 2018 and many love to refer to it as Square Enix's take on Minecraft. You get to explore vast islands full of resources to gather and monsters to battle.
