BioWare and EA didn't officially announce a release window for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf yet but one of the developers working on it let the cat out of the bag after posting on their LinkedIn profile that the game is expected in 2024.
This means we are likely less than a year away from the next Dragon Age but that is still an entire decade between the release of Inquisition and Dreadwolf.
Additionally, the developer's hint at the 2024 release is backed with other vague but reliable statements from people connected with the project.
Just last week, Jeff Grubb, a longtime industry insider stated that the game's development is going well which hinted at a release that is coming fairly soon.
Back in October 2023, Mark Darrah, a former executive producer at BioWare also noted that the game is in the final stages of production and is getting ready to ship.
While both of these pieces of news are good, it remains to be seen whether BioWare can scrape together a win after being without one for a decade.
Between the releases of Inquisition and Dreadwolf, the studio only managed to release Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, each of them being a further step in the wrong direction.
