Blizzard Entertainment have shared an update on how the development of Diablo Immortal has been progressing lately. They said development is making progress with internal company playtesting to start soon.
Diablo Immortal has been in development for quite some time now and players have been wondering when exactly will Blizzard Entertainment reveal details about the game's beta test if not the release date. It's been a while since Diablo Immortal team talked to the players but today, they have shared a development update over at their blog .
Blizzard say they have seen all the burning questions about the status of development on Diablo Immortal and wanted to assure fans that the team has been hard at work. The devs transitioned to working from home due to COVID-19 pandemic but despite that, they are still making good progress and are marching toward key development milestones.
"One of the most important milestones for every new game at Blizzard is the internal company playtest," they wrote in the post. "Blizzard is full of passionate gamers with a diverse range of playstyles and gaming tastes - the internal company playtest allows the development team to access that deep well of feedback."
Once this internal playtest concludes, the team will focus on tweaking and fixing things received through the feedback. Sadly, they did not mention a release date so we will have to wait a bit more for that.
Diablo Immortal is officially coming to iOS and Android.
