Due to the Bungie's delay of The Final Shape DLC, the current Season of the Wish has been extended, leading to the introduction of Into the Light as a interim measure. Destiny 2 Into the Light PvP Maps
Three new Crucible maps will be added:
- Cirrus Plaza (Neomuna)
- Eventide Labs (Europa)
- Essence (Pyramid Ship)
These maps will be available on May 7 and are designed to offer a more competitive experience.
All New Modes in Destiny 2 Into the Light
Two new PvE modes will be introduced:
- Onslaught: A Horde Mode featuring waves of enemies in familiar locations.
- Pantheon: A boss rush mode where players face Raid bosses in a gauntlet. Drops Raid loot. Onslaught goes live on April 9, while Pantheon arrives on April 30.
New Armor in Destiny 2 Into the Light
Each class will receive a brand-new armor set, obtainable by earning Trophies of Bravery.
These trophies can be earned through various activities, including playing ritual and seasonal content.
Returning Exotic Missions in Destiny 2 Into the Light
Two Exotic missions are returning:
- Whisper Mission — Whisper of the Worm (available at launch)
- Zero Hour Mission — Outbreak Perfected (available on May 7) Players can earn these Exotics by completing the missions and unlocking intrinsic perks via rotated challenges every three weeks.
Destiny 2 Into the Light Brave Arsenal Explained
Twelve iconic weapons will return with redesigned looks and new perks. These will be released gradually, with some available at launch and others added before April 30.
Players can collect them through quests from Arcite and Shaxx's chest at the new hub, The Hall of Champions, as well as from Onslaught chests.
