Clan Redeem has managed to be the first ones to conquer the first raid in Destiny 2: Forsaken. This brought about many changes to the world as Bungie seemingly gladdened the fans for the first time in a long while with this feature.

As Destiny 2's lore goes, the first fireteam to beat the raid will be the "canon" one and will go down in history as such. This team in particular consisted of Modern, Sweatcicle, Ehroar, FleshCrunch, Gladd and Indica. This was announced on Bungie's official Twitter.

Going into the game's history in such a way is cool for sure, but what ensued next takes the cake. As reported by a bedazzled player, Destiny 2's world started changing in real time as the team cleared the raid. The next paragraph contains story spoiler, so be wary if you don't want to see them yet.

As the raid's name, "Last Wish", suggests, the team beat a powerful Ahamkara that managed to transcend death and grant one more wish, resulting in corruption of Dreaming City. In the interest of keeping lore in tact and avoid having players wish for real life Sharknados, the plot just had to go this way.

This caused further corruption in open world and any players that were out patrolling at that time could see the change in real time. One was given by a Redditor named EmptyItOut, where commenters further explained that not only the scenery changed as new activities as well as a new Strike were unveiled.

Other than that, there is a new cutscene when players load into Dreaming City which briefly sums up the lore events of the raid, and Petra Venj has more dialogue in Last Wish.

There are apparently more world changes that are set to make debut later on, meaning map should change even more. This implies Bungie might be making more actual content in the future and Destiny fans' pleas for such should finally be answered.
