If you're one of those players who unsuccessfully grind for cosmetic items from Last Wish raid, Dreaming City location or exotic fusion rifle One Thousand Voices, Bungie's upcoming update could finally help you to get the loot you desperately desire.
In their latest blog post, the developer shared their plans for the upcoming Destiny 2 update 2.2.1. The patch will introduce various quality of life improvements and bug fixes, but the biggest change is certainly the increased drop rate for rare items.
According to Bungie, Dreaming City cosmetics Ghost, ship and Sparrow will be significantly increased. When playing activities that drop these items, the chances of getting them are doubled, tripled or even more for their respective activities.
The same goes for Last Wish raid cosmetics - Ghost, ship and Sparrow will be doubled, tripled or more for their respective checkpoints.
As for the Last Wish exotic fusion rifle One Thousand Voices, which you can loot in the raid's final room, the drop chance will be increased, but not as nearly as the items mentioned above.
This exotic will continue to be rare among players, but Bungie have tuned the drop weights to give slightly better chances than what are currently available.
Some of Destiny 2's lore books also got increased drop rates. These include Cayde's Stash, Dreaming City and Tangled Shore.
Bungie also listed a couple of other changes that will drop in the upcoming patch. After the update, players will have more time to complete Invitations of the Nine - instead of Tuesday, the reset will go on Thursday.

The devs will also add a couple of new buttons to Nightfall Power Handicap to help players set their handicaps more efficiently. You can read more on that and other changes in Bungie's .
Destiny 2 update 2.2.1 is tentatively planned for 09 April 2019 on all platforms.
