For those of you who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition to get the early access, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be playable on June 24, 2025, at 12:00 AM local time.
If you found the Digital Deluxe Edition to be on the pricey side and decided to opt for the Standard Edition, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach launches on June 26, 2025, at 12:00 AM your local time.
As you can see, the game follows a midnight rollout, so those in New Zealand, Australia and Japan will get to play it before us unlucky ones in European and American territories.

Death Stranding 2 continues Sam Porter Bridges’ story, with a stronger emphasis on emotional storytelling, environmental traversal, and expanded gameplay systems. It's still powered by Guerrilla’s Decima engine, promising richer visuals and more intricate world-building, alongside returning characters and new faces.
Death Stranding: On the Beach will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive on launch, but there's a chance it arrives to PC and other platforms at a later date.
