Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has officially announced its release for PC. Fans finally have a date and no longer need to speculate about if or when. Kojima Productions confirmed the highly-anticipated debut during this week’s PlayStation State of Play, alongside a new trailer.
Players knew at some point a PC version was coming. After all, Death Stranding launched on PC just over a year after its initial console release. Furthermore, leaks late last year revealed the game had an ESRB rating attached to a PC build. It’s finally here.
With an official release date and list of features detailed, PC gamers won’t have to wait much longer to return to Kojima’s bizarre universe.
Death Stranding 2 PC Release Date Confirmed
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will release for PC on 19 March. State of Play revealed the news today, finally confirming Death Stranding 2’s release on PC after months of speculation and quiet hope.
Alongside the release date, a new trailer for Death Stranding 2 was revealed. This trailer didn’t focus on story details, instead highlighting the PC features coming to Death Stranding 2.
PC Features and Enhancements
Kojima Productions have confirmed Death Stranding 2 will include several PC-specific features:
- Higher framerate support
- Support for ultrawide monitors
- Full DualSense support on PC
More technical details have yet to be revealed, but the list of features seems to indicate Death Stranding 2’s PC port will be comprehensive.
